1. A broom can become an instant limbo stick - have children see how low they can go or who can go under in the most creative way!
2. Have each child perform an "animal dance" - call out different animal names to music and ask the children to perform "The Lion!", "The Elephant!" or "The Monkey!"

Here's a spin on a favorite (and easy) game, "Duck, Duck, Goose."

• Nothing!

1. A group of children sit in a circle, facing inward, while another child, the "tapper," walks around tapping or pointing to each player in turn, calling each one a "clown" until finally picking one child to be "JoJo."
2. "JoJo" then rises and chases and tries to tag the tapper. The tapper tries to return to the spot where "JoJo" had been sitting and sits in that spot.
3. If the tapper succeeds, "JoJo" is now the new tapper and the game begins all over again. However, if "JoJo" catches the tapper, the tapper must continue his or her walk around the circle.

• Old large men's shoes (the bigger, the better!)
• Funny t-shirts, baggy pants and suspenders
• Plastic hats
• Toy oversized glasses
• Fancy gloves or scarves
• Anything funny to dress up in

1. At one end of the room, set up two tables. Each one should have a set of clown costumes that include oversized clothes, suspenders, a jacket, a hat, and old large men's shoes.
2. Divide players into two teams positioned at the opposite end of the room (this will be the starting line).
3. At the sound of the whistle, the first person from each team runs and puts on the clown costume (over his clothes), runs back to the starting line, strips, and tags the next player, who puts on the clown costume and runs to the opposite end of the room and touches the table, runs back to the starting line, strips, tags the third player, and so on. The first team to complete the relay wins!

Small paper lunch bags are inexpensive, readily available, and the perfect backdrop for children to make puppets out of their favorite characters. Have children work on the puppets as they arrive.

• Red pom-poms for clown noses
• Red string for JoJo's hair
• Brown string for Goliath's mane
• Markers of all different colors
• Glitter
• Stickers of big top animals such as elephants, lions, and horses

• Pictures of JoJo, Goliath, Tater, Croaky, Trina, and Skeebo (print them here)
• Prizes (try a box of animal crackers or an animal plush toy)

• Print and cut out multiple pictures of JoJo and friends.
• Hide them around the party area but make sure that while they are hidden, they are low enough for smaller children to spot.
• Ask the children to look all over for pictures of JoJo and friends and to collect as many as they can.
• Whoever finds the most friends at the end of the day wins a prize!

Become a clown like JoJo by creating big, red clown feet! The feet can also act as an easy name tag -- just write the child's name on them.

• Red construction paper
• Marker for tracing feet
• Scissors for cutting out the feet tracings
• Ribbon or string to tie feet on
• Decorations such as glitter and colored markers to decorate shoes (or write children's names on them)

1. Have each child stand on sheets of red construction paper and trace their feet slightly larger than actual size.
2. Cut out the feet tracings.
3. Have child decorate their "shoes" using glitter, markers or any other supplies you have on hand.
4. Punch two holes at the top, string the ribbon through the holes, and tie the tracing around the child's ankle.

Sometimes even the best plans can go awry -- too much sugar, too much jumping, or just too much excitement can over-stimulate a child. Try the JoJo way of calming them down.

1. Stand with your arms extended, hands flat, palms facing up and say: "If you need to calm down Every now and then Take a deep breath (and take an exaggerated deep breath in) And count to 10!" and begin to count to 10 with your fingers.
2. Ask the misbehaving child to sing along or include other children.
